Statues For Equality is not only the project of Gillie and Marc. They are calling on the entire world to become a part of this movement for gender and racial equality through public art. They are asking the public to become actively involved by nominating women who should be honoured with a statue and spreading the word. They are calling for cities and businesses to commission more statues of inspiring women and to offer up public spaces to house the new works. They are also calling on artists to help them to reach their aim of 50% representation of women in public statues around the world by 2025.
